Description of the Work

Illusion is created by folding stripes, silhouette and as an effect of 3-D object popped up when opening the zipper such as, The stripes seen from the front look differently from the side as if they were refracting and the cape jacket, which looks like a sleeved jacket etc.

Inspiration

Inspired by Trick Art such as M.C. Escher. Coexistence of art with clothing is aimed at. Fashion and art-questioning the ambiguous borderline between the two, I explored the possibility of expressing fashion on this borderline.

Materials Used

-Wool -Felt -Printed cotton velvet -Printed poplin -Engraved leather
