The Deia magazine that delivers on Saturdays, On, published a few weeks ago an interview to Javier Barroeta. He is a Basque designer and a jury member of our contest Bilbao International Art & Fashion.

In it, Javier Barroeta analyzes the current state of the fashion industry and he is defined as a couturier, but as a designer. He explains how his beginnings were, his apprenticeship with Pedro Rodriguez and his subsequent career.

He boasts about being the high society couturier of Bilbao and he fights every day to get his clients enjoy with his work. If the designer sets the trends, he customizes and shapes them.
