Designed simplicity

The winner of the special category of this third edition of Bilbao International Art & Fashion is Alazne Etxeberría, a young girl with her heart divided between Sopelana and Zamudio.

Her entrepreneurial and versatility led her to study Business Administration specializing in Marketing and Advertising because her dream was to start her own business.

And so it proved. With the full support of her family, Alazne is slowly working and producing their creations to lay the foundations of her fashion company. "My family supported me even without understand, so I value their unconditional. They struggle to understand how I life and work because there is NO precedent in family, but are seeing positive results, "says the designer.

It takes four years training as a stylist and fashion designer and SHE defines their designs as "studied simplicity." She likes to play with the constructive elements of a garment, with its silhouette, line, texture of the fabric ... "Maybe I'm too austere at the moment I do not use too much color or pattern, I look more transmit sensations from protection to the flow."

If she had to choose one favorite designer, it would be complicated because all stolen her heart of any way.  "Some of ingenious, others baroque, some for architectural or subtle, others by good business or its individual universe ... Miuccia Prada, Consuelo Castiglioni, Ricardo Tisci, Nicolas Ghesquiere, Phoebe Philo, Raf Simons, Isabel Marant, Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld ...”she affirms.
